Samples
- Collect the same organs for both techniques
(DualDiag PIF : except for the digestive tract which cannot be used in PCR).
- For histopathological examination (OAPVSO), the organs are shipped in formaldehyde
For cytology examination (OAPVSO), spread on clean, air-dried, unfastened, uncoloured, uncovered, uncovered, protected from the surrounding formaldehyde vapours. Multiple slides are accepted for the type of cytology chosen.
- For quantitative PCR (Scanelis), the samples are not fixed

Organs: dry tube/vial (without transport medium)

Sending
- Place the samples in two pouches marked with the name of each laboratory before preparing the package
- Send everything to OAPVSO
- Print the Chronopost slip for shipping to the LAPVSO on their website: OAPVSO
Tariff
The rate indicated on the DualDiag Service chosen includes the following benefits :
- Shipping by Chronopost to OAPVSO + transfer of samples for quantitative PCR to the Scanelis laboratory
- Histopathological examination (+/- cytological depending on the DualDiag Service concerned)
- Quantitative PCR on 1 to 3 samples analysed in mixture
- Analytical reports from each laboratory
- A concerted synthesis of the results carried out jointly by the veterinarians of the two laboratories
- Terms of payment: attach owner's cheque, payable to LAPVSO or invoiced to the veterinary clinic
Delay
- 3 working days from the time the samples are received at the LAPVSO
- Send results to the clinic by e-mail or fax, according to your choice
